Alphonse Mucha was born on 24 Born in July 1860, in the Czech Republic. He is an art, a decorative painter and artist. It is for these images of women known as his works frequently featured beautiful, strong young women in flowing robes, looking vaguely Neoclassical, often by lush flowers which sometimes formed haloes behind surrounded the heads of women.
Mucha, the work has to do to further periodic revivals of interest for illustrators and artists. The Japanese manga artist Naoko Takeuchi published a series of official posters of the five main characters from their manga series Sailor Moon mimics Mucha-style.
Alphonse Mucha died of pneumonia, after having taken by the Gestapo during World War II prisoner. He died in Prague on 14 July 1939, with pneumonia.
