MotoGP Live Streaming 2011

Le Mans, France
Sunday, 15th May 2011
Yamahas Jorge Lorenzo earned the third-fastest lap on Day 1 and was 0.48 seconds adrift of Stoner.
The ‘10 battle between Lorenzo (above) and Pedrosa is being revisited as both Spaniards share wins visiting Le Mans.
Three different winners have already claimed wins within the 2011 MotoGP Championship since it skids into France’s famed Le Mans circuit for Round 4. Repsol Honda’s Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa and Yamaha’s Jorge Lorenzo happen to be quick to grab wins at the start of the summer season, just like a war breaks out between the Honda and Yamaha garages for Grand Prix supremacy.
In Portugal Pedrosa rebounded from shoulder surgery to win his first race in the season and move within four points of current leader, Lorenzo. Using a week to relax his shoulder, the Spaniard should be in better yet form because he looks to incorporate another victory to his career Grand Prix tally of 36. After winning the final round, Pedrosa shares the same volume of wins in MotoGP as Lorenzo, both Spaniards taking 13 victories throughout their careers. Whoever can win at Le Mans will tie the 2nd best Spanish rider ever, Jorge Martinez.

Nissan Leaf Becomes First Electric Car To Win Global Auto Prize – Mashable

April 21st, 2011 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Autos, Hot News

The Nissan Leaf won the 2011 World Car of the Year award at the New York International Auto Show, beating out the short list of three finalists — the Audi A8 and the BMW 5 Series. The Leaf was the first electric vehicle to win the award.

According to the jurors, Nissan‘s electric car has a lot going for it:

“The Leaf is the gateway to a brave new electric world from Nissan. This 5-seater, 5-door hatchback is the world’s first, purpose-built, mass-produced electric car. Dropped onto a unique platform and body, the Leaf’s lithium-ion battery modules and electric motor generate 108hp and 206 lb ft of torque, propelling the hatch from zero to 60mph in 11.5 seconds and a top speed of 90mph. It has a range of over 100 miles on a full charge (claims Nissan), takes around 8 hours to recharge using 220-240V power supply and produces zero tailpipe emissions. Its low center of gravity produced sharp turn-in with almost no body roll and no understeer. The good news? It feels just like a normal car, only quieter.”

We think another reason the Leaf deserves the New York International Auto Show‘s World Car of the Year award is because of its Carwings system that leverages crowdsourcing to enhance its fuel economy.

What happened to the Chevy Volt, which costs $8,200 more than the $32,780 Nissan Leaf? It was still deemed cool enough to win the Green Car of the Year award at that same auto show.

We’ve driven the Volt and, as the jurors said about the Nissan Leaf, the Volt feels like a normal car, too. What really makes it feel normal is after you’ve run down its batteries, its gasoline engine allows it to keep going for just as many miles as conventional vehicles.

Albuquerque takes shock RoC win – autosport.com

Albuquerque takes shock RoC win

Filipe Albuquerque and Sebastien Loeb on the RoC podiumFilipe Albuquerque defeated three-time winner and World Rally legend Sebastien Loeb to take a shock victory in the Race of Champions in Dusseldorf.

Sometime Red Bull protege and GP2 driver Albuquerque – now a GT racer – breezed through the qualifying rounds to take on Loeb in the final, and a win each in the first two races of the three-round showdown, including a 0.02-second photo-finish triumph for Loeb in the second one, set up a decider in RoC buggies.

Loeb appeared to hold the early edge, but Albuquerque had a superb second lap and the 25-year-old Portuguese driver came through to pip Loeb at the line.

Albuquerque had won all of his heats, then defeated countryman Alvaro Parente in the quarter finals before taking on Sebastian Vettel in the semis. Vettel looked set for a narrow win after the first lap, but Albuquerque fought back to overturn Vettel’s 0.4-second advantage and snatch victory by a tenth, silencing the home fans.

Vettel had already eliminated the crowd’s other hero Michael Schumacher when the results of the heats pitched the two Germans against each other in the quarter finals.

Loeb saw off Tom Kristensen in the quarter finals and Andy Priaulx in the semis – winning the latter contest before locking up his Audi R8 and nudging the barriers after the chequered flag. Priaulx had earlier beaten Bertrand Baguette in the quarter finals.

Heikki Kovalainen’s return to the event he famously won in 2004 proved to be an unhappy experience. After his Team Nordic pairing with Kristenen was knocked out early in the Nations’ Cup, today he crashed heavily in the afternoon’s very first heat.

During a narrow defeat to Loeb, Kovalainen clipped the barriers at the final corner and broke his Audi R8’s rear suspension. This pitched the car into a spin as he tried to brake on the slowing-down lap, and after demolishing the inside barriers, Kovalainen had a heavy impact with the outside wall. Both Kovalainen and his passenger – his girlfriend Catherine Hyde! – were unhurt but the Lotus driver decided to withdraw from the RoC afterwards.

Spins in heats helped Alain Prost, Travis Pastrana, Mick Doohan and Tanner Foust to early exits. Also eliminated before the quarter finals were Jason Plato, Jeroen Bleekemolen and Carl Edwards.

Ultra Defragger is the latest malware ridden program , Remove It ! – Gear Noir

November 14th, 2010 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Autos, Hot News

Ultra Defragger is the latest in the line of fake software which tend to be something else ( A MALWARE ! ) . Yes , it scans your computer and gives out fake error messages about the hardware and registry and keeps adding up to the errors . Here are some of the weird ones :

Windows cannot find notepad.exe. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search.

A hard drive error occurred while starting the application.

After installing this software , it will start infecting your PC with various trojans and other malware . It autostarts on every bootup and is pretty hard to remove , I’ll explain the uninstall process below . But first , here are some more of the weird errors which are not real but this software makes them look real :

Critical Error!
Windows was unable to save all the data for the file System32496A8300. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware.

System Restore
The system has been restored after a critical error. Data integrity and hard drive integrity verification required.

Critical Error!
Damaged hard drive clusters detected. Private data is at risk.

Critical Error
A critical error has occurred while indexing data stored on hard drive. System restart required.

Critical Error
RAM memory usage is critically high. RAM memory failure.

So if you made the mistake of installing this problem ridden application , uninstall it first open up the task manager , close all applications that look dubious , like the ones named in number > 23344.exe . Then search for these files in C:/Users/[Username]/Appdata/Local/Temp folder on Windows 7 and C:/Documents and Settings/[Username]/Application Data/Local/Temp on older windows versions and remove them . I suggest using a good antimalware like Malwarebytes or VIPRE to remove them completely .

October 21st, 2010 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Autos, Google, Uncategorized
