Xperia Arc S
Sony ericsson smartphone has unveiled its latest Android smartphone, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S at IFA 2011 in Berlin, Germany. Apparently, the Xperia Arc S is revised version from the original Xperia Arc.
Sony ericsson smartphone has bumped in the processor to at least one.4GHz and added 3D and 2D sweep panorama photography. Among other functions could be similar with the original Xperia arc including 4.2-inch Reality display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine (480 x 854 resolution pixels), 8.1-megapixel camera with Exmor R image sensor, 320MB internal storage and supports micro sd card as much as 32GB.
Plus, Sony Ericsson has also introduced Music Unlimited and Video Unlimited services to Xperia smartphones soon.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S is available in five colors, Pure White, Midnight Blue, Misty Silver, Gloss Black and Sakura Pink. It’s expected to release in October 2011.
The handset is gloriously sleek and slim at just 8.7mm thick along with it’s slightly bowed chassis design. At 125 x 63 mm its a telephone having a large footprint, though, thanks mainly to its impressive 4.2in display, which packs in the decent, though not outstanding, resolution of 480 x 854 pixels.
Hardware features wise you have got three buttons underneath the screen for Back, Home and Menu, with Android’s customary search function limited to software only. Otherwise the device has just about the perfect selection of bits and bobs. There’s microHDMI for hooking it up to a TV, volume rocker and camera shutter button about the right edge, and a microUSB socket for bandwith and charging and headphone jack at the top. The shutter button is still in the same way small , fiddly for on the original Arc – you can not shoot easily one handed – but no less than it’s there, and otherwise the camera is easy to make use of.
